Favorite Outfits of 2016 Part 1

Another year of outfits--well everyone has a year full of outfits, unless they live in a nudist colony I suppose, but I document my outfits, which means I can look back on them here at the end of the year. I really think my style has evolved over the past year, and my wardrobe has certainly grown since I never stop sewing (or shopping eek!). Today I thought instead of a new outfit (it was -2 degrees this weekend, sorry!), I would pick my favorite outfit posts from each of the first six months of the year to share with you all! Most of you will have already seen these ensembles, but it was fun for me to go back through my own archives from the past year and look at how my style has evolved (and my hair length has changed!).

  1. A fantastic look back at some of your favourites. I love that blue blouse from January, it's very similar in style to the next blouse I'll be making. xx

    1. Thank you Cate! I really ought to make another version of that blouse in another fabric with a bit more ease through the bust as the blue one is a bit small.

    1. Thank you Porcelina! It's rare to catch me even almost smiling like that since I don't really like my smile!

And wishing you a most wonderful holiday season as well! <3

  4. Great selection of outfits, was it hard to choose favourites? I would have thought so as you have made some wonderful items this year.

    1. Thank you Kate-Em! I actually didn't find it hard to choose at all, I am critical of my own work so sometimes its hard to choose a favorite because I see so much I'd change! Typical right ;)

  5. What a beautiful selection of outifts! I didn't see all of these the first time around, so it was nice to see them now. I think I'm going to have to go back and look at them all :)
