Well in truth it's more pumpkin pie hued plaid, rather than pumpkin, but I couldn't think of a title for this post!
This little forest green top was a lucky find while thrifing, it's from Forever 21 and still had the tags attached! This skirt is not only very soft but also just a smidge too big, and is therefore extra comfy. The weather here is still rather sunny and relatively warm so I haven't really been able to break out my full fall wardrobe just yet. I keep wearing sweaters only to end up being much too warm! The trees have all turned orange this week and I anticipate the cooler weather is on its way. I better get a move on with my knitting projects so I can have a few new sweaters to wear when it finally does cool down!

This whole outfit is wonderful. I love how plaid can be paired with so many colours.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kaitlyn! Plaid is so wonderfully versatile like that :)
DeleteThis dress is really cute, contains all colors. Beautiful photos
ReplyDeleteThank you Serena!
DeleteI LOVE the colours of the skirt - and pumpkin is the perfect description! And as ever you have put together the most stunning colour combination! Kx
ReplyDeleteThank you! Plaids are almost easy to style with so many color choices!
DeleteI adore this look ~ the colors are so lovely and fall-ish, and your hair looks stunning in that half up 'do! Really, I don't think I've seen this style on you before, and I love it. I think it looks super glamorous and very pretty. That top and brooch are gorgeous as well, so lovely together. ❤

Thank you Bonita! My hair is so hard to style these days as it has gotten so long! I am soooo close to cutting it, I just cant decide how short I want to go. I have been growing it out for around two years now, but it has gotten too long to do retro things really, but thank you! I'm glad you like it :)
DeleteGreat fall outfit! You find the best spots for photos too. :)

That skirt has the perfect autumn colours, it is lovely. Great paired with green and that cute little brooch!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate! I had to have the brooch when I saw it on Etsy, it's actually one of two, the other is green :)
DeleteEven better! Look forward to seeing that one too!
DeleteYou always have such good shoes, I'm most envious of Modcloth and the other places you shop, it seems you get some completely fabulous buys! You're looking very Autumnal, I love that brooch in particular. xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Porcelina! I am a bit of a shoe lover, I have to stop myself because Modcloth has the cutest shoes!
DeleteAbsolutely beautiful fall outfit. I adore that you picked up the hits of dark blue in the skirt with your choice of shoe colour. Stellar styling!

Thank you Jessica! I'd love to have the same shoes in this dark forest green color, I'm hoping Modcloth will make such a shoe eventually! They have done this same shoe in many colors this year so hopefully they will get to green eventually!
