Pumpkin Plaid

\

Well in truth it's more pumpkin pie hued plaid, rather than pumpkin, but I couldn't think of a title for this post!

This little forest green top was a lucky find while thrifing, it's from Forever 21 and still had the tags attached! This skirt is not only very soft but also just a smidge too big, and is therefore extra comfy. The weather here is still rather sunny and relatively warm so I haven't really been able to break out my full fall wardrobe just yet. I keep wearing sweaters only to end up being much too warm! The trees have all turned orange this week and I anticipate the cooler weather is on its way. I better get a move on with my knitting projects so I can have a few new sweaters to wear when it finally does cool down!

Skirt: Made by me
Blouse: Thrifted (Forever 21)
Belt: Banana Republic
Shoes: Modcolth
Brooch: Vintage
Earrings: Vintage
Tights: Amazon

  4. I adore this look ~ the colors are so lovely and fall-ish, and your hair looks stunning in that half up 'do! Really, I don't think I've seen this style on you before, and I love it. I think it looks super glamorous and very pretty. That top and brooch are gorgeous as well, so lovely together. ❤

    1. Thank you Bonita! My hair is so hard to style these days as it has gotten so long! I am soooo close to cutting it, I just cant decide how short I want to go. I have been growing it out for around two years now, but it has gotten too long to do retro things really, but thank you! I'm glad you like it :)

  7. You always have such good shoes, I'm most envious of Modcloth and the other places you shop, it seems you get some completely fabulous buys! You're looking very Autumnal, I love that brooch in particular. xx

    1. Thank you Jessica! I'd love to have the same shoes in this dark forest green color, I'm hoping Modcloth will make such a shoe eventually! They have done this same shoe in many colors this year so hopefully they will get to green eventually!
