Hard Disk Failure

Well, naturally, being a responsible person I don't have my files from 2013 or 2014 backed up. Which wouldn't matter except my computer decided at around 11 last night that I had "Hard Disk Failure". AKA my hard drive has emploded. So, this is an unofficial post to apologize for the lapse in fun new stuff today. I'll be back up and running as soon as possible!

    Oooohh, sweet dear, my heart goes out to you entirely. I've been there a couple of times myself over the years and it is the most gut wrenching, awful feeling when you realize that things really and truly are gone. I'm deeply sorry and hope that perhaps by some miracle, your last couple of years of work might be able to be salvaged (take it to an expert in your area and see what they have to say - nothing ventured...).

      Thanks Jessica, it is the worst feeling! I have been granted a miracle indeed as my computer has magically come back on, allowing me to save everything onto an external drive. It is also mysteriously working fine currently, which I don't quite understand but gladly accept! My dad is my tech guy so hes going to look at everything tonight, hopefully it has miraculously recovered?
