This time I paired the neutral suit with green and navy blue so I could wear this fun navy hat with ribbons and carnival glass beading. The green handbag is one of my favorites, but then again I love most vintage handbags as I am an accessories addict! I am already looking at the "holes" in my collection of handbags I want to fill for this upcoming summer. I am certainly on the look out for navy gloves in a size 8, as the ones I have on here are just too small. The silk scarf has a print of colorful flowers which helps to remind me that eventually the plants will be green again and spring will return. Unfortunately here in Colorado it is usually May before green leaves come back and I can't wait because bare branches and dormant trees mostly make for terribly boring photo backdrops.
I have simply got to get back to sewing, I'm so close to finishing the brown wool 1930's dress and I want to wear it asap! Happy Monday everybody, good luck out there <3

Great look! I love how you paired the neutral suit with such rich, jewel tone blues and greens - it really makes them pop. That hat is to die for!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jessica! I should really wear this hat more often <3
DeleteGorgeous shade of green on that bag. A nod to Spring! X
ReplyDeleteThanks Porcelina! I miss green leaves :( Soon enough they will return I suppose, I'm impatient!
DeleteYou make this tan colour work so well. I love the green with it - colours of the forest, I guess - but then the blue stops it being too obvious. Just wonderful colours together! Kx
ReplyDeleteThank you! I arrived at the colors rather randomly so I'm glad it came together in the end :)
DeleteWhat a delightful hat! I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like it!

Thanks Janey! Neither had I, but I have a bit of a striped/rainbow hat collection growing now :)
DeleteBeautiful colour pairing with the tan suit. That is such a fun hat- and it would go so well with many colours. I completely understand your feelings about getting bored with dressing for winter. I am definitely getting to that stage :( Can't wait for Spring!

Thanks Nicole! I'm trying to figure out ways to style my winter things with springier colors while I wait out the duller months of winter!
DeleteBeautiful hat and bag. The navy and green look so well with your tan suit.
