Just a quick little outfit that I wore to work today. This lovely silk blouse was a purchase I made at work earlier this summer as soon as it went on sale! When it first came in I fell in love with just how perfectly 50's it was, with my favorite little kimono sleeve and great covered button front. It was pricey being 100% silk, but I waited for it to go on sale and snapped it up before they could sell out!
Working at Banana Republic used to be more dangerous, then we got a new designer (Marissa Webb) who is much more modern and therefore few things ever catch my eye now. I am hoping there may be some nice simple sweaters for fall, but she seems to cut everything very over-sized and bulky so it remains to be seen. I miss the more classic pieces we used to carry!
I hope you are all having a lovely weekend!

Great outfit, I like the dark florals against that white wall. Your jewellery set looks very pretty.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate! It has been a very useful set, and it was super inexpensive on Etsy!
DeleteVery, very pretty outfit! I love that shoot location, too - something about it instantly made me think of Greece (I think it's the white washed walls and bold yellow sunflowers).

Thank you Jessica! I wish I were in Greece, I've never been, but with at that history around I would have a field day! This location is a park called Silo Park, because of the silo of course, and is actually where I had my senior year photos taken back before my last year of high school. It is a very nice park with lots of suitable photo areas :)
