We have actually been having spring weather! It has been so nice! Sadly, it's supposed to drop back down to more wintry temperatures tomorrow. While the sun was out, I took the chance to wear my new black straw hat! Though it was rather windy so I pretty much had to hold onto it or risk it flying into the nearby pond!
I made this skirt last week as a break from all the blouses I have been making. I snatched the fabric (a cotton sateen with a very slight stretch) for only $11! What a deal for a great skirt! I even have some fabric left over so I may make a matching bolero. Another reason I was excited about this fabric was because I knew my teal suede shoes would match the teal in the print. I am always looking for ways to wear these shoes as I just adore them!
I hope everyone is having a lovely week so far, I can't believe March is nearly over already?! How did that happen?

Good shoes! Lovely fabric choice for the skirt and I rather like the poses that happened as you had to hold on to your hat!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate! It has been quite windy this week!
DeleteGorgeous, very well coordinated ensemble. I love those blue suede shoes (Elvis ref not intentional :)). It's so fun and fashionable when you can pull colours from a print and find shoes to match one of them.
