Winter Berry

Well, this dress is more aubergine than berry in hue I suppose, but the title popped into my head.

I had originally planned to have this dress finished much earlier in fall, but time slipped away from me and I ended up only finishing it recently. The 3/4 length sleeves make it perfectly acceptable in winter too though, especially with a new-to-me vintage faux fur wrap/cape! I have a few faux fur shawls that are all rectangular in shape and I had been wanting to try a vintage more cape-esk style for a while. This one has funny little shoulder pleats that felt rather Blade Runner to me so I snapped it up! (I realize now that you can only see this detail in the photo below). Sticking with the purple and brown color scheme I also pinned on my other fall themed Luxulite brooch, the second of the two I picked up this fall. I added more brown accessories with brown gloves, leather belt, handbag, and my two tone Royal Vintage spectators!

I have to admit I am quite exhausted these days with working so many hours for the holiday rush! I am very much looking forward to Christmas and the week away from work between the 25th and the new year. I have so much to catch up on! I hope you all are well and having a much more relaxed season than I am <3
