Peacocks and Picket Fences

This super dark navy twill suit is one of my favorite makes from this summer. I knew it would work just as well in fall, and I am excited to finish a plaid wool skirt I know will look cute with this jacket too! Today I paired it with a newly finished rayon blouse in a golden olive green color I have a hard time describing! This blouse turned out just as I had hoped except that the neck is a bit too tight/high, so that;s something to adjust on the pattern for next time. I just had to have this fabric when I first saw it, I really love the color!

Also debuting are these peacock feather earrings with iridescent glass stones. They are the prettiest peacock themed pieces I have ever seen, and are a total steal available here on Etsy! The seller has more dead stock of these earrings (I made the matching brooch out of a second set of earrings), so if you like them you are in luck! For once a vintage piece that I can link to :) You may recognize my shoes, as I have worn the black version several times on the blog now, but somehow the navy shade had yet to appear. I really love these shoes! I am so glad Modcloth offers them in many colors, they also have a burgundy, a yellow, and mint green! I am hoping they will do a dark forest green or an olive green someday.

I'll update you all on my knitting progress tomorrow, I am so close to finishing my first ever sweater!

    1. Thanks Jessica! I just glued the earrings to a spare brass stamping and then glued a pin back to the back! Easy and now I have a set :)
