Roses on the Riverfront

A little outfit for beating the heat around here! It was 91 again today, but it was overcast, thankfully, so it wasn't too bad. This blouse is an old standby from Forever 21 of all places! I got it years and years ago, and I just adore it! I wish I had a dozen blouses like this.

These little floral heels arrived from Modcloth just today! They were sort of an impulse buy as they were on crazy sale ($13.99!) and I had been looking at them earlier in the summer. I thought they would be great for summer, and seeing as our summer weather arrived late this year, I think the heat will be lingering for a while yet. I just need to get going on the last of my summer sewing projects!

    1. Thank you Jessica! I hadn't done this style for a few weeks so it came out a bit lopsided, but that's what hair flowers are for!

    1. Thank you! I think Forever 21 used to do much better vintage style pieces, they don't so much anymore sadly!

    1. Thanks Kate! They can be surprisingly hard to find, I've had luck at TJ Maxx before (or as it's called in the UK, TK Maxx) oddly enough.
