Souvenir Shopping - What I Bought in Paris

Somehow a simple video talking about the souvenirs I picked up in Paris turned into this mega long 20 minute video! I'm not even sure exactly how that happened, but clearly I like to ramble. I even cut out as many umms as I could ;)

And speaking of videos, I have uploaded three new ones this week! There is a grand tradition on YouTube of people doing VEDA (vlog every day in April (or August I suppose)), or VEDIM (vlog every day in May), or any other combinations of such an acronym depending on what month one attempts such a monumental task. I briefly considered trying to do VEDIM this May, before I realized that was a super crazy idea that I just wasn't ready for! Instead of trying to get a video up every day, I am trying to upload three videos a week for the rest of this month instead in an effort to both improve my video editing skill, define what my channel will be like a bit more, and get more comfortable in front of the camera/hearing my own voice. I suppose we could call it MVM (more videos May), but I'm sure someone has thought of that one before! So if any of you are interested in checking out my videos, I would much appreciate it if you headed over to my YouTube channel and perhaps even hit that red subscribe button as I make this renewed effort to step up my video game!

I have a lot going on this weekend with some photo shoots, spring cleaning, and even a job interview! Here's hoping each of these things goes well and I get the time I'd like to film even more videos and perhaps get started on another big project I want to put together and share with you all soon. So many things to do and only ever so much time! 'Tis the way of things I suppose <3

  1. I love Kusmi tea! You made the right choice. Their Russian series is lovely. My favorite of those is, of course, Anastasia tea.

    1. Thank you Porcelina! I will have to wait a while to wear the wool berets as it is suddenly super warm here in Colorado now!

  3. Sounds like a lovely vacation!
I hadn't heard of Kusmi tea either until we went to Paris a few months back. I bought a few smaller tins of their tea after having it at the hotel. I love Prince Wladimir and Anatasia the best. ❤
How do you spell the name of the taxidermy shop you visited?

  4. I love all your beret choices- it really is too bad that we don't have many beret colours to choose from here in North America.
And your butterfly is gorgeous! That sounds like an amazing shop.

  5. I enjoyed this video lots. I totally understand those accidental purchases. The mustard and pumpkins berets are fabulous colours and the greeny/blue scarf is very pretty. Sounds like you had such a great time.

    1. Thank you Kate-Em! I definitely had a great time, even if (and partly because...) I did more shopping than I should have! ;)
