Flower Fair

The Denver Botanical Gardens has an annual plant sale where one can find quality plants for their summer garden, but inevitably as this is Colorado....it rains. Last year it rained, and this year it rained. Not the best weather for walking around a garden! Luckily we got in a few photos of my outfit before the grey clouds decided to descend. I had been expecting sun, hense the parasol, but in Colorado you should never bet on the weather.

I wore my pink and lilac floral 1 hour dress, black accessories, and finger waves for what I thought was to be a day of flower viewing. Instead we quickly found a few plants to buy and then went to a yummy taco place for lunch! My hair sort-of cooperated into finger waves and curls, though thanks to the rain and general humidity in the air the style quickly went from late 20's bob to longer 40's fluff as my curls loosened.

Hopefully we'll get some more sun soon! Till then I have oodles of sewing to keep me busy indoors :)
