Just a little outfit today. This is a new skirt shape for me, I tried flaring the bottom edge out like a trumpet. I still haven't completely decided if I like the silhouette on my figure, but it is nice to at least add a slightly new skirt shape into my wardrobe. I have another more traditional trumpet skirt in the works in dark grey wool. It is almost completed, the skirt just needs a hem and it will be finished! In the meantime I have been distracted by some hat projects, I can never stay focused on one thing for long it's a miracle I don't have dozens of unfinished projects laying around!

Oooohh, I like it a lot! It's very much akin to a pencil skirt, but with a little jolt of extra pizzazz at the end - like an exclamation point on your outfit.

Thanks Jessica, it's basically a pencil skirt with a little flip, very easy to modify the pattern!
