Though we did have an odd cold and rainy day this week, it was only just the one day before the sky cleared and the heat returned. Though I love a nice summer day as much as the next girl, I tend to prefer cooler weather. I can't stand being sticky and hot all day. Thank goodness Colorado is a very dry place so I don't have to deal with humidity as well as heat. I could never live in the South, I would literally melt!

I know I showed you all this skirt earlier this summer, but it has been a workhorse of my summer work wardrobe. I'm happy to say a few customers have asked me if it was one we sold at Banana Republic, and I had to tell them that sadly for them I made it myself!

I have another busy week ahead of me, I have had no time to sew lately! So sad! I will have half a day this up coming Friday to at least get a little work done. I also have a very exciting concert to attend on Wednesday night, my dad and I are going to see Lady Gaga! I'm super excited, I even bought purple lipstick for the occasion!
