How can I tell if it was made in the 1940's or when?Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12306247221477697978noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3482142516265173452.post-6144173828622082462020-09-22T19:13:21.001-06:002020-09-22T19:13:21.001-06:00I have a white one-a little worn but awesome purse...I have a white one-a little worn but awesome pursesusanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05937501966137377239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3482142516265173452.post-59978972058497185742020-04-14T08:23:18.437-06:002020-04-14T08:23:18.437-06:00I found one at auction a few years back, a simple ...I found one at auction a few years back, a simple clutch in a black/white checkerboard pattern. I thought it was mod/1960s - and was the only person interested in it. I was drawn to it simply because I thought it was cool and hadn't seen anything like it before. I got it at the auction for a steal and upon further inspection (the lining and zipper clued me in) and then further research learned that it was much older than I originally thought! I would say that is one of the easier restoration issues for a plasticflex indeed. Perhaps a local tailor could help, or a seamstress/sewist friend?Bianca Espositohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01541302311277420740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3482142516265173452.post-71071341131112894902019-04-20T20:06:56.848-06:002019-04-20T20:06:56.848-06:00Hello, loved your article. I really liked it but it hadn't dawned on me that the concept was vintage. Thanks for the terrific insight!!
