How exciting that you're going to be delving into creating more pieces with this (now) classic fabric. I can hardly wait to see them and wish you many happy days of sewing.

♥ JessicaWitchcrafted Lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02992822472797191121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3482142516265173452.post-21196524696256801082016-04-19T22:56:59.485-06:002016-04-19T22:56:59.485-06:00I quite agree!I quite agree!Bianca Espositohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01541302311277420740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3482142516265173452.post-35761462558653710992016-04-19T22:56:46.734-06:002016-04-19T22:56:46.734-06:00I know right? I just got some new rayon tops at H&M and after washing them (in cold water via the machine) I can tell they shrunk up at least an inch! I'm going to try and steam them back down as they were on the short side to begin with! I'm glad your dress has fared better!Bianca Espositohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01541302311277420740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3482142516265173452.post-20952149701882013662016-04-18T13:59:51.800-06:002016-04-18T13:59:51.800-06:00Those dresses on the first picture look amazing! This...I didn't realize Joanns had rayon at all! This is great news! I'm definitely stuck in a Joanns-only fabric desert, and ours is a particularly quilter-oriented Joanns.

Also, I do have a 10 year old rayon dress (that was secondhand when I got it, even) which I have been merrily slinging into the washer and dryer for years, and it's still intact, but it has shrunk a bit, so I think if you have something you're not super protective of and you've aggressively prewashed the fabric, you should be fine to machine-wash.Emilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00251643282331650102noreply@blogger.com
